Jackson and Edith Hudson Jackson and wife of 47 years, Naomi 'Kate' Jackson. Survivors; daughter, Julia and husband Guy Palumbo; brothers; Charles H. Jackson, Neil and wife Wilma Jackson; sisters, Wilma and husband, Wilson Kumm, and Elma June and Roy Wilson. Burial in Estes Cemetery, Coalfield. He was the son of Edward and Edith (Hudson) Jackson, the grandson of Staples and Lina (Lawson) Jackson, and the great-grandson of Rev. William R. and Mahala (Cooper) Jackson. Obituary (Morgan County News, Wartburg, Tenn., March 20, 1997, p. 2A): "Stanley Jackson, 73, Ohio "Stanley Jackson, 73, of Dayton, Ohio, formerly of Coalfield, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 1997 in Kettering Medical Center of Kettering, Ohio. "He was preceded in death by his parents Edward H. Jackson and Edith Hudson Jackson; and by his wife of 47 years Naomi 'Kate' Jackson. "He is survived by daughter Julia Palumbo and husband Guy of Louisville, Ky.; brothers Charles H. Jackson of Dayton, Ohio and Neil Jackson and wife Wilma of Kettering, Ohio; and sisters Wilma Kumm and husband Wilson of Bellevue, Ohio and Elma June Wilson and husband Roy of Dayton, Ohio. "Mr. Jackson was a member of the East Dayton Baptist Church and a member of the Inland twenty-five[-]year club. He retired from General Motors, Inland Division, following 37 years of service. "Funeral services were held Friday at 8 p.m. in the chapel of Sharp Funeral Home with Rev. Mack Smith and Dr. Billy Edmonds officiating. Friends called at the funeral home Friday, between the hours of 5 and 8 p.m. Burial and graveside services were held Saturday at 11 a.m. in [the] Estes Cemetery of Coalfield.
