Obituary:
Donald Lee Rutter, 33 of 129 E. Jefferson Street, New Lexington, Ohio died May 20th at Good Samaritan Hospital. He had been a patient for 5 days. Lifetime resident of New Lexington, Mr. Rutter was employed by Rehart Sanitation. Member of the Church of God in New Lexington. Member of the Eagles Lodge and a Vietnam Veteran. He was born August 11, 1947 in New Lexington, Ohio the son of Melvin and Geraldine (Hiles) Rutter.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, Carolyn (Gross), three sons-Donald Jr., Mathew Wayne and Daniel of the home, seven brothers-John, Melvin Jr., Michael, Timothy, Mark, Jeff, & Tom of New Lexington, three sisters-Mrs. Darrell(Lorretta) Goshorn of Sidney, Mrs. (Judy) Griffith and Mrs. (Dian) Nash of New Lexington. Services will be May 22 at the Robert Funeral Home. Rev. Delores Rayle officiating. Burial in Memory Gardens.

On 12 Apr 2007 Carolyn Rutter Summerfield states that Donald was a laborer by profession, he belonged to the Church of God and that he died of cancer.
