- This is the William B. Ernest that the Jackson Ledger says accompanied Mary Cloytd and Stephen Alonzo Jackson to Philadelphia 'that night' when they were married. Apparently this was a short trip for him as a descendant has written me to say that Wm. B. didn't leave Virginia for many years.
His wife Helen Frances Mason, died Oct 6, 1901 in Imboden, Arkansas. After that he returned to Virginia, then Richmond, where he died in 1917.
