Services held (Thursday) 12/22 in the Phillips & Luckey Chapel in Rockdale. Burial in Oak Lawn Cemetery in Rockdale. Rev. Charles Cox officiated. He was BORN 3/20/1914. Married Eutha Jackson on 12/31/1938 in Rockdale. He was constable for Precinct 4 (Rockdale-Thorndale area) for 16 yrs. Owned a gun shop in Rockdale for 20 yrs. and was a lifelong resident of Rockdale. He was past-president of Rockdale Lions Club, member of First Christian Church of Rockdale, district director of Babe Ruth Baseball and was active in many civic organizations.
